Ciesielski: "The bulk of my new clients have come from online sources. I did pay per click for a long time with good success but it was expensive and the cost kept increasing. I saw blogs appearing in the search engine results and decided to look into into it. I decided to give it a go along with pay per click to see how they compare. Blogging quickly took over as a top quality lead generator and pay per click is but a memory. At first the sole purpose of blogging was to generate contacts which could turn into additional business. As I progressed and learned I found that blogging was a time saver. I use blogging to answer client’s questions, which I feel could benefit others. I have greatly lowered my print advertising by sending my clients posts I have made about the market vs sending out newsletters. My target is very specific and I try to present information that Internet searchers will find. They are finding it and contacting us."

Ciesielski: "While the blog technology itself is ever evolving I have noticed that overtime what I write about also changes. This evolution is quick clear. I write about current statistics, related news, things that my future clients may face during the purchase process and after the purchase. I don’t blog about listings. Specifically, I don’t because many of my readers have told me that they can get listings anywhere or from the IDX. So, if I do have a property of interest I put it into context. I write about the area and mention the home in passing. I want the reader to see that they can come to us for their answers and hire us to help with their real estate needs."
Kinetic: "Have you seen a return for your Real Estate Business Blogging effort?"
Ciesielski: "The result of blogging has been tremendous. ‘Arizona Apartment Investor’ is not a mature blog yet, but it’s not only clipping at the heels of many other long existing websites I have it’s far ahead in search engine visibility. In fact, ArizonaApartmentInvestor.com has been up less then 2 months… so far the results are page one placement for many of our target terms, direct contact from readers and 3 ready & qualified buyers. I like those numbers. Although it’s nice to see my blog posts in the top positions of many searches, it’s the amount of leads and the quality of leads that interests me the most. I’m especially surprised at how many people actually pick up the phone to call vs just an email. These calls are much better leads and much higher percentage of these leads turns to transactions."
Kinetic: "Has it been a good business decision to pay for a Real Estate Business Blog solution & service?"
Ciesielski: "I was weary about blogging for business because there are so many things that I did that were a waste of money and time. Blogging has quickly turned into the best marketing solution for me to gain new business. When I considered blog providers vs doing it myself I saw how much time I would have to put into maintaining and then developing the blog. The cost associated with a paid solution is so small compared to the benefits. I like the fact that I just work on generating the leads and helping clients, while the blogging technology is maintained in the background and it works."
