Real Estate Blogging should be part of a Real Estate Agent’s Integrated Internet Marketing Strategy

Many agents are so busy that they do not have adequate time to develop a fully integrated Internet Marketing Strategy, however the importance of blogging should not be overlooked in the current marketplace.  Just having a website may not be a complete strategy, whereas, having a fully integrated blog might be [Web 2.0.] 

With search engines becoming more complex, the importance of moving forward with technology must be recognized.  After all, if you can’t be found in Google or one of the other search engines your existing effort may not bear fruit in the way of visibility or leads.

Your ‘Integrated Internet Marketing Strategy" might be a website/ blog combination, which may combine a focus and a discoverability plan. Make a commitment to promote yourself & your website by working out a schedule for posting to the blog.  Internet Marketing doesn’t have to be a chore. It’s a cost-efficient and incredibly effective visibility mechanism. As in any marketing campaign -the more visibility you gain, the more likely you are to receive leads or referrals.

Because a blog is attuned to the ‘new search engine algorithms’ (which are becoming commonplace in Web 2.0) it should take a lead role in your visibility campaign. Commit to posting and use your blog to educate your visitors/ target market about your neighborhood or listings etc. This can, with the proper navigational & integrated linking, help to funnel traffic to your main website. The result can be increased lead capture and a greater opportunities for new business.
