Realtor Q & A: “So, what is a blog, how can it help my business and why is your solution going to help me more than others?”
We’re going to begin to look at a no. of the questions we’re often asked. The first question we’ll tackle is actually three , but they’re typically presented in succession as follows, "So, what is a blog, how can it help my business and why is your solution going to help me more than others?"
Q: "what is a blog?"
A: In our view, a blog is a content management system. Better yet, a blog is a website with the unique capability for simple & immediate content creation.
Q: "how can it help my business"
A: We believe there are many benefits including being an authoritative source of valuable information on a particular area, but for a Realtor we feel the most important benefit [or value proposition] is that blogging can be an incredibly cost- efficient search engine ad/ marketing tool. Search Engines [arguably] offer the greatest & most qualified marketing environment ever created and blogging certainly offers a simple, rapid means to transfer your business knowledge & information to the web. If you think about a search engine’s interest in finding, organizing and then providing all search traffic with the best set of answers possible, a consistent stream of content on a Realtor’s authoritative knowledge (i.e. Maui Home, Property & Real Estate goings- on) can help those same search engines achieve their objective. If you help them with relevant, subject- specific answers for their searchers, they may just reward you with traffic. In summary, if the effort of blogging content is for the benefit of a target market it should also also be for the search engines who can make it a great deal easier for that same market to actually find you!
Q: "why is your solution going to help me more than others?"
A: As for our solution, it is designed to be turnkey with sophisticated ‘business requirements’ in mind. While actual business blogging requirements’ might very well include various search engine visibility treatment(s), instrumentation of performance tracking analytics, search engine pinging, comment moderation and content syndication or RSS/ ATOM it is highly unlikely that most people would ever know to consider such items in advance of pursuing an initiative. It’s highly unlikely they would ever consider the value of machine friendly- formatted content, detailed search index penetration (e.g. topics, keywords & key phrases), automated content quality assurance (e.g. link structure monitoring), outage contingencies, integration with base domains and/ or various relevant inbound content syndication channels.
