The Trulia Real Estate Search Engine: What it does and how it helps agents.

According to statistics from Trulia’s ads, 76% of buyers start their search online. Trulia, a new residential real estate search engine, seeks to be the intermediary that brings together the residential agent and the home purchaser.

From their website:

Built in close collaboration with leading brokerage firms, Trulia.com is a real estate search engine and next-generation marketing tool that points qualified home buyers to listing broker and agent Web sites—for free. In other words: Your listings, your links, for free.

The same page explains how you can increase your exposure by advertising on their site, or getting a featured listing.  Rismedia.com also reports that Trulia recently hired Jamie Glenn, "a long-term driver of real estate and classifides product strategy at Yahoo!," as vice president of product management at Trulia.
